They had a wide ranging discussion on the prospects of democratic reform in Syria and the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Herman is a Member of the German Parliament&#8217;s Defence Committee and Parliamentary Assembly of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ribal said, &#8220;I was delighted and honoured to meet MP J\u00fcrgen Herrmann. We had an excellent discussion on bringing peaceful transitional democratic change in Syria and challenging extremism in the Middle East.
