Syrian President’s Cousin: March Towards Democracy
The cousin of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, Ribal Al Assad, who lives outside Syria, called for gradual and non violent transition to democracy in the country, and said that protests will continue until the regime becomes more receptive to the protestor’s demands.
He added that President Assad might want reforms, but there are elements in the regime that are thwarting them.
