Ribal Al-Assad, the Director of the ODFS, briefly met with Britain’s Foreign Secretary William Hague MP at an event in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on the meeting, Ribal, said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I was delighted and honoured to meet Foreign Secretary William Hague. We had an excellent discussion about the role the UK can play in helping to end the repression in Syria and in supporting democratic development in the country. I welcome the UK’s support for the legitimate aspirations of the Syrian people for freedom and dignity. I look forward to working with Mr Hague and the UK Government to bring peaceful transitional democratic reform in Syria.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
