Mr Str\u00e4sser is SPD&#8217;s parliamentary spokesman on human rights and humanitarian aid. They had a wide ranging discussion on the prospects of democratic reform in Syria and the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ribal said, &#8220;I was delighted and honoured to meet MP Christoph Str\u00e4sser again. We had an excellent discussion on bringing peaceful transitional democratic change in Syria and challenging extremism in the Middle East.
