This week, Ribal Al-Assad, the Director of the ODFS, delivered a lecture on the Arab Spring at the China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing. Ribal was invited and hosted by the Vice-President of the University, Professor Dr Zhu Liqun, who is also the Secretary-General of the China National Association for International Studies. The University is China’s leading institution for international affairs and the training of diplomats. The lecture was well received by the audience of students and was followed by a comprehensive Q and A Session.
