Ribal Al-Assad, the Director of the ODFS, had a meeting with German CDU MP Frank Heinrich in Berlin. Mr Heinrich is a Member of the German Parliament’s Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid Committee, and is the CDU’s spokesman on religious dialogue. They had a comprehensive discussion on the prospects of democratic reform in Syria and the Middle East.

Ribal said, “I was delighted and honoured to meet MP Frank Heinrich again. We had an excellent discussion on bringing peaceful transitional democratic change in Syria and challenging extremism in the Middle East. I look forward to working with him on these issues in the future.”
