ODFS Director, Ribal Al-Assad today met with senior Labour MP Mike Gapes, in the House of Commons. Mr Gapes is one of Britain’s most distinguished parliamentarians in the field of Foreign Affairs and is a former chairman of the House of Commons, Foreign Affairs Committee.
Ribal Al-Assad said, “I was delighted and honoured to meet Mike Gapes. He has an excellent understanding of the current issues in the Middle East. We had a very constructive discussion about bringing democracy, freedom and human rights to Syria. I look forward to working with Mike Gapes.”
