A video has emerged of the brutal execution of children and the elderly by Islamist rebels in Syria.
The graphic video shows the cold blooded slaughter of several unarmed people by heavily armed militants.
Commenting on the video, Director of the ODFS, Ribal Al-Assad said:
"I am horrified by this brutal act, you can clearly see unarmed civilians being murdered by Islamist extremists - this is absolutely abhorrent.
We cannot allow these atrocities to be committed, how many more are to be killed before something is done - we need to stop this barbarity.
These Islamist rebels have no value for human life, and will kill all who do not share their perverted ideology. It is plainly obvious that they do not want democracy but an Islamic Caliphate State under Sharia law.
It is imperative that those responsible for this crime are held to account for their actions - they must face justice for this abominable act.
The International Community must come together to rid Syria of these extremists, they have absolutely no place in today's world.
My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families at this time."
