Ribal Al-Assad discusses the Middle East with Britain's leading Muslim MP Sadiq Khan

ODFS Director, Ribal Al-Assad met with Sadiq Khan MP and discussed the campaign for democracy and freedom in Syria and the wider issues affecting the Middle East. Labour MP Sadiq Khan is Shadow Secretary of State for Transport. In the previous Labour government he was Britain's first ever Muslim cabinet minister. Ribal Al-Assad said, "I was honoured and privileged to meet Sadiq Khan who is Britain's leading Muslim MP. I look forward to working with him to promote dialogue and understanding between the Arab world and Britain."
