Ribal Al-Assad discusses the prospects of democratic reform in Syria with Adam Ereli, Senior Advisor to the US State Department

Ribal Al-Assad met with Mr Adam Ereli at the Next Century Foundation's International Media Awards, held in the House of Lords, earlier this month. They had an excellent discussion on Syria and the wider issues faced by the Middle East.

Mr Ereli is Senior Advisor to the U.S Undersecretary for Public Diplomacy for Overseas Communications, and is based in London. He oversees regional communications hubs in Brussels and Dubai, and the Arab Media Outreach Center in London.

The U.S. Senate has confimed Mr Ereli's nomination as the new American Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Commenting on the meeting, Ribal Al-Assad said:
