The World Affairs Councils of America (WACA) is the largest non-profit grassroots organization in the United States dedicated to educating and engaging Americans on global issues with nearly 100 councils across 40 states reaching more than half a million people a year.

Today, Iman Chairman Ribal Al-Assad participated in the WACA panel titled “The New Map of the Middle East,” alongside speakers such as Dennis Ross (Distinguished Fellow, Washington Institute for Near East Policy), Thomas J. Lippman (journalist and author), Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman (Kurdistan Regional Government Representative of the United States), and Thomas McNamara.
