ODFS Director, Ribal Al-Assad today met with senior Labour peer Lord Clive Soley, in the House of Lords. Lord Soley has a deep interest in the Middle East and conflict resolution. He is the founder of the Arab-Jewish Forum, which aims to create better understanding between Arabs and Jews.
Ribal Al-Assad said, “I was delighted and honoured to meet Lord Soley. He has a great interest in and understanding of the Middle East. We had an excellent discussion about bringing democracy, freedom, rule of law and human rights to Syria. I look forward to working with Lord Soley.”
